Guest killapong Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 hey basically my friend thought it would be massively funny to put a pattern lock on. I don't know it and he has forgotten. If you could give me an idea how to reset it, i don't mind resetting the memory. i'd be happy to just have factory settings to be honest. Thanks in advance

Because if you do, turn off the phone (remove battery) and then turn it on, holding volume down. Then go to reset factory settings. If you don't have it installed, then go to: http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...blade-oled-tft/ USE THE FASTBOOT METHOD and then do the same as I said above.

EDIT: i'd prefer to try and do it without flashing/putting new things on it etc i'd have thought there must be a number to call in emergency dial surely? thanks all the same man Edited April 23, 2011 by killapong
Guest TheManicGibbon Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 I don't know the exact details, but if you enter it incorrectly a certain number of times (I think it's 5) then it gets you to wait and then gives you the option to log in with your Google account that you have paired to the phone, and then you can reset it. :)

Guest killapong Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 aah can no one help me? surely among all this technical knowledge someone must know how to reset my phone :)
Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 Doesn't it have an option to get on with your google account?
Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 And even without recovery I believe you have the option to boot into FTM recovery (which is stock) Basically boot with volume down held. And you should get a screen saying FTM (or something) Then I think you might be able to press home (or something) And there should be a factory reset option.. But im not sure if there is, or if it works :)
