currently installed recovery unrecognised?

Morning all.I am using Mr Harpers guide to installa custom mod jap jellyfish but when I install and use the recovery manager I get "Currentl installed recovery unrecognised".What do I do next please ?

I have pressed menu-update database,also I can reboot and get into the recovery mode which tells me I am in the Clockwork mod recovery v3.9.2.4. Which option do I select next ? If I select reboot it boots to the current orange screen.

in clockworkmod menu

install zip from sdcard

sub menu choose zip from sdcard

choose the zip of the rom you have copied in root rep of the sdcard

wait till finished

reboot

wait 10 mins (normal)

It has been 45 minutes and at the moment the word android lights across the screen.Is the rom installing or have I bricked it ?

Wiping cache and factory reset might help.

the boot animation should come up in less than a minute

power off and reboot

if it still doesnt work go back into clockwork and try flashing again

if that doesnt work restore your backup, which I hope you took

I wiped the cash and did a factory reset,the welcome screen appears but it wont let my touch the android.The battery looks low so will recharge to see if that helps,and no I did not make a back up :)

assuming you have a Gen 1, you will need to get another, or stock rom, on your card - available here

then reflash

and the same procedure install zip from sdcard

The touch screen has stopped working now !!.Going to try to renstall the stock rom I downloaded to the sd card again.

Still doesnt work :)
