Guest Foordy Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Hello, I am having trouble downloading apps from the android market and i believe it to be due to the cyanogenmod 7 rom i am currently on as i never had this problem before the rom (running on jellyfish froyo rom). does anyone else have this problem, or does anyone have a solution this would be greatly appreciated. *note; i had this problem a few weeks ago and just restarted my router and all seemed well till friday when the problem arose again :). Thankyou Bradley:)
Guest dibbles Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 (edited) read this thread from post #2042 and also what I and others suggested. http://android.modaco.com/content-page/335...only/page/2040/ Not sure if the poster got it resolved but your issue reads very much like theirs. His solution was.... My phone is sorted now. Google it and the suggestion was to perform a factory reset; but also did another full wipe as suggested above. Result being it's now downloading from Market successfully one again. Thanks for your help guys Edited April 24, 2011 by dibbles

Guest Foordy Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 Try The New Nightly & Update To Gen 2! :) :( which means i will need to start fresh and redownload every app :)
Guest Michealtbh Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 I'm having this problem after upgrading to gen2 and a fresh install of 7.0.2. Downloads start then instantly start, this only occurs in the market. Ive tried rebooting and clearing data in Market and Downloads. I'll probably just go back to a gen1 backup tomorrow
Guest Foordy Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 haha, well funny story:$ but i had 'droidwall' running unintentionally and i didn't realise till i was browsing through shizzle on my phone today so if anyone has this problem and uses droidwall put 2+2 together and give it a go. thankyou to the above posters who tried helping muchly appreciated.
