Guest frankquattrone Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Is there an app or hack for the Streak to control the cursor in text input boxes? The Samsung Tab has this little button that pops up below the cursor and lets you drag it around. iPhone has the magnifier thingy. Anything similar for the Streak? I hate randomly tapping until I get the cursor in the right place.

Plus it is optimized for the Streak 5" screen http://www.streaksmart.com/2011/01/thumb-k...ell-streak.html https://market.android.com/details?id=com.b...ft.keyboardplus Edit: Just found this Free Tablet keyboard, haven't tried it but reviews are good. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.p...etkeyboard.free Never mind won't let me download it for the Streak 5 :) -Bob Disclaimer. Guest Hells_Child Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 i use ultra keyboard and if you just press the screen for approx 3 sec a magnifying glass appears so you can get the curser in the right place. i thought all the keyboards had it inbult as it is a pain in the ass. alternative, ultra keyboard has arrows keys to get the curser where you want.
Guest tv-arnd Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 I use AnySoftKeyboard. Swype has some cursor control on one of the keyboard layouts, cannot remember key combination to change layouts.... read manual.
Guest frankquattrone Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 Thanks for the tips folks. I use Multiling Gingerbread KB and it has a second keyboard with arrow keys to move the cursor. I was hoping there was something more elegant like the Samsung button or the magnifier. Ultrakeyboard sounds like it has the magnifier but I like the gingerbread keyboard. Oh well.
