This week my mother-in-law decided she'd like a tablet as she has no computer skills at all. she wants one to email her friends and perhaps browse the internet.

she had seen a 7" Elonex Etouch for £100 in a catalogue, after looking at asda direct, they had this 8" Binatone Homesurf one with touch buttons on the bezel.

Upon recieving the tablet, i set her up an email account and set up the wifi internet. All this works fine, the keyboard is a pain in the arse tho with it being resistive screen.

Just wondered if anyone knows of any ROMS, or ways to install the Android Market on a 1.6 device?

If she had asked me last week to try and get her a tablet, id of rushed to get her a Vega for £150 before they ran out online, anyone know if they are any left in stock, perhaps take the Homesurf back for a refund.
