Hi guys

Had my Vega for awhile now and just started to use cwm to flash different roms and loveing the vega more and more.

just wanted to say thanks and keep up the good work.

paul's r8 rom was my first and was very impressed.

Now using corvus5 which is very fast and so far very little bugs apart from small lag when system is asleep for awhile.

Also big thanks to the maker of Vega tools found that very useful to get cwm on my vega.

Hopefully ive learnt a lot myself now so should be able to help out a little on this forum.

Hi Neil

Can you shed some light into differences between r8 and c5. Also, if its possible to use a usb keyboard via dockstation, experiencing issues with scrolling and selecting unintended shortcuts.

So far have been in a mexican stand off with my vega, deciding if i should give into my curiosity. You know the saying "if it works,l..."

Anyways, look forward to be part of this community and contribute meaningful posts.

c5 has the overclock kernal and feels a tad smoother. Also with the icons and the full status bar it looks like its made more for a tablet. both very good roms.

although i am not a new member i am still amazed by the incredible amount of work all you modders, devs and tweakers put into getting the max out of the vega.

the strength of the community here was one of the reasons i got a vega instead of an archos.

Could someone be kind enough to post some screen grabs or a video of the corvos in action. I am new here and planning on getting a vega as soon as I can.. I see lots of good things about it, but would like to see it in action.

Would love to, but got osf at the moment which has a low quality camera, had Vega for a week now. Here my recommendations:

1. Learn about nandroid backups

2. Setup usb PC connection

3. If possible get a class 6 microsd card

4. As soon as you get your device do a nandroid backup and start trying different Rooms, customizing them, nandriod backup and moving onto the next rom.

Newbie myself any corrections/suggestions most welcomed. Currently researching on how to create an app,any direction to sources would be great
