Battery Drains While Switched Off

Yesterday I used my Vega for a while then switched it off. I then switched it on much later for a while then switched it off again. When I switched it off for the second time the battery said 68% well over half full. When I switched it on again for the third time the battery had dropped to 32%.

How can this happen?

Mine didn't correct itself. I'll try rebooting it when does it again.

Its happened again. My Vega was on 55%. Switched it on and it has dropped to 19%. I rebooted but it made no difference.

satisfied with my advent vega but the same issue happened to me as well... but using the system it takes around 3 hours to drop down to 50%. i was browsing the net using a 3g module. turned it off, when i opened it up the next day, it right away showed me that it only has 18% of battery life. any fix on this yet? thanks and more power!

Been pointed out before, the battery status doesnt update properly when in use, but once you reboot or switch off and on it has.
