not receiving text messages

Last night I put my phone on airplane mode for an hour and later turned it off, since then I haven't received any text messages. I can send messages, send\recieve calls and use the internet. I tried using handcent sms and the stock sms app but neither show any new messages even though I know they have been sent.

I've never had this problem before and its really frustrating. I'm running streakdroid 1.8.1. If anyone has any idea what the problem is please help!

send a sms from your phone to your phone..

test sim in another phone..

if above fails..

call your carrier..

they can send a message directly from your message service center, bypass all other possible faults.

there is a difference between not receiving sms, and not displaying sms.. not sure what could cause the app to not read them though..

not sure who your carrier is .. if you are with o2 send a sms to 2020 if it responds then you are receiving from the service center

did you ever figure out the problem??? i'm on 1.9.0 and i have the exact same prob...
