Guest Ciels Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 Device won't boot after trying to flash "Gen1 to Gen2 TPT upgrade" Checked MD5 and everything. Phone is OLED and now doesn't want to power up or even charge, shall I take it back?
Guest ms20 Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 Try applying the TPT again because it might not have worked correctly. If you're sure it's dead then act like a noob when you take it back so they don't think you've hacked it. keep trying though it might just start working again if you're lucky.
Guest ktkr Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 (edited) Bricked mine too. The flashing stuff went ok but it didn't boot into clockwork... Or boot at all no matter what I do. I'm not a fucktard enough to try a warranty fraud, so I'll just probably purchase a Galaxy S or something. Edited April 27, 2011 by ktkr

Its not really fraud  Unless you personally ripped the USB / battery out of your device during the transfer then it could be a hardware fault that ruined your device. Things don't just go wrong :o And to the OP try this: http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...-also-the-imei/
Guest ktkr Posted April 28, 2011 Report Posted April 28, 2011 (edited) http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...-also-the-imei/ Thanks for the link. I tried it but it didn't work for me. Lesson learned. I am not going to mess with critical bits of software on my Optimus X2 when I get it. Edited April 28, 2011 by ktkr
