How do I rename a folder on the homescreen?

Maybe I'm just not trying, but I've created a folder on my homescreen and I cannot rename it. It is determined to stay called "folder". Help?

Press the folder icon once and a pop-up showing the folder contents will appear. Press and hold your finger on the top bar of the pop-up and another window will open where you can rename the folder :)
