Phone bricked

hello,

I just tried to upgrade my blade up to gen2 in order to flash the lastest cm 7 rom, but my phone won't start anymore.

I've put the proper file on my sd, turn off my phone, take out my batterie, put it back and start pressing menu and volume +.

I've seen, green lines about the work in progress of the flashing process, and suddently, the screen turned to black and the red light is on.

Now when i press the power button, I only see the the red light and nothing is happening. I can restart the flashing process which end in the same way.

I'm afraid I just bricked my phone for good, I allway nandroid backup but here I'can get to recovery mod.

I need help please.

1. Check the md5 of the files on the SD card, download them again, try with any different version of the TPT files that wbaw provides. If all else fails, try flashing back to gen1 using wbaws TPT files. If this doesn't work, you should ask in the gen1-Gen2 TPT upgrade thread.

EDIT: misread your post - if you can still use TPT (you can start the flashing process again) then there should be no need to resort to the below.

2. If none of the TPT files work and you can't get as far as the green android when you turn it on, try the instructions on This thread. Make sure you keep channel1.nvm from the upgrade process if you have it. Using these instructions, try first flashing Gen2 firmware, and if that doesn't work, try Gen1 firmware.

which TPT did you use ?

1) go to the TPT GEN1 GEN2 topic. download this one. there is one that flash your phone back to GEN1,too. check MD5

2) format your SD-Card.

3) extract the zip file to it.

do the flash again.

seems that one of the files of your download was damaged.

A file was corrupted. Stupid mistake. Maybe I shoutn't have download and extract the files with my phone.

But now It's working!!

I had to buy a usb micro sd card reader, not cheap but better than to buy a new phone!
