Guest T0yK4T Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 Okay, while I know this issue may not be an actual issue, I still find it fairly annoying - I have a <danish> *cries* LG O2X Every time I flash a new rom, it automatically switches itself in to Danish mode, which is fairly harmless in itself, the real issue is when changing the language to english, I first have to do a complete reboot before things like Titanium backup "get" that it's NOT a danish phone anymore. I should note though that I basically flash a new rom as often as I change clothes xD, to this becomes quite an annoyance for me personally. Every time I flash a rom, I basically have to do the following steps in order to get a "usable" system: 1. Boot 2. Wait for language to autoswitch to Danish (If I do anything before this happens I get thrown back to the start screen) 3. Switch language to english 4. Exit Initial Setup 5. Reboot 6. Set up everything via settings (Which by the way, will probably crash if you select "Display -> Display Font" with the Fonts app -excluded- in your rom) One other thing that really annoys me is that damn blue foreground font colour LG chose to use for "sub" text (The text that "describes" what any individual item in a list does) - Is there any way of changing this to the default gray? Oh, and having a phone start up with "audible" touch is quite annoying as well, wish there was an option for that as well, before rebooting / touching anything / setting it manually in settings. Also, the vanilla unlocker apparently has some "issues" at times. As far as I can tell the app or whatever, isn't started until after you turn on the phone again, when in fact it should be started right before the phone goes off. This is more of a cosmetic issue than anything else, but can be quite annoying. (Currently it's something like "Turn on phone, see your homescreen, then bam there's the lockscreen", when in fact it should be more like "turn on phone, bam there's the lockscreen") In vanilla android it looks a lot like the lockscreen is actually "started" before the phone turns off completely, and is then suspended as the "foreground" app (Instead of the homescreen in this case). Also, I've noticed when leaving the phone off for a prolonged amount of time (This isn't always the case actually, which makes this "bug" even more annoying (Can't always reproduce)) will cause the unlock slider to appear unresponsive to quick unlocking (Slide quickly), it'll basically snap back in to place instead of following your finger - So basically you have to slooowly drag the slider for it to recognize the motion. (This may be due to a touch screen driver problem, (Speculation)) (These issues are all with MCR <= FR13) Anyways, apologies for what must seem like a rather long rant, instead of anything constructive. I'm sorry if this isn't really related to anything on here, just really had to voice my issues somewhere, if a mod feels this doesn't belong here, I'll gladly delete the thread.

Man, just don't wipe before you upgrade next time and you'll keep all of your settings. Will solve 99% of these annoyances.

Usually I don't upgrade per se - I reflash, or whatever, I really like starting a clean system when I flash. I do this mainly because I usually select different "ingredients" in the kitchen, when baking a new rom that is - And I don't want any leftovers from a previous rom there. When I do upgrade, I don't wipe... Besides, this doesn't "fix" the blue font stuff, and the unlocker issues...
