Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 use a custom rom, as they are more functional. use Swedish spring, its dead stable.

Guest WuLiao Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 (edited) Sorry for the silly question btw From where I can download that ROM and what's wrong with the Official update which is on ZTE's web site ? you can download it in this forum! but here is the link for you! Swedish Spring! there is nothing wrong with the official update, it just that custom roms contain more tweaks in it, and mostly, they are come with pre-root! Edited April 27, 2011 by WuLiao
Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 To list a few reasons custom ROMS are better: They are also more customizable with themes. Can save more battery with certain governors and underclocking. And VM heap. Can increase performance by certain governors and overclocking. And VM heap. Can do a mixture of both that adjusts to what you need with the smartass governor
Guest veehexx Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 with that said, custom roms can also introduce issues. all the custom roms i've used dont have the bluetooth support like the official Orange rom (i have issues with ELM bluetooth OBD2 interface), and infact, the roms i've tried from kalt, exchange email does not work. flb roms are fine with exchange, just kalt's. but yes, in general, custom roms are much better overall.

Guest DannyDanny Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Dear Friend, Swedish Spring ROM is in english or in Swedish ? nothing to do with this post, but when you say 'dear friend', you remind me of those Chinese Ebay sellers
Guest shadowninty Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 nothing to do with this post, but when you say 'dear friend', you remind me of those Chinese Ebay sellers  perhaps because he is from the Middle East/Central Asia where many of said entrepreneurial sellers come from :o
