Hey there, sorry if this isnt worth a new post but im at the stage where my fone is annoyin me lol, so well yday i used the app free music download, i downloaded a song on to my phone the battery was low so i switched off the phone and charged it.

when charge was over i put it on and the sd card error came up in the notification bar and said something like "trying to read card, looking for error" and then when i go to gallery or music it says no sd card.

i think the song may have downloaded a virus that corrupted my sd card? is this even possible lol? oh and then after the sd card dont work, my phones been soooo laggy, whenever i text the writing doesnt show untill ive written a whole sentence etc, and when i swipe between screens it freezes and this has never happend before... or when i press a button like whilst texting it freezes.

does this mean i have a virus or something that ruined my sd card and slowed the phone down, i even uninstalled a lot of apps, and it seemed to run a lil bit faster but not stopped the laggy ness lol

thanks for any replies!

Seriously doubt it is a virus

Probably either that download has corrupted your SD card or it was just an odd coincidence. Either way use a card reader and attempt to recover your SD card in your PC (Save files if you can and format it) failing that your phone maybe able to format the SD card either in settings or in clockwork.

Taking the damaged SD card out of your phone should restore your speed. Or you could have to insert a working one.. Android does "need" an sd card to function optimally
