CyanogenMod 7.0.2 - Endless Android boot logo loop

I have used CyanogenMod 6 and 7 with no problems for months, upgrading the sub-versions along the way.

I tried to upgrade from 7.0.0 to 7.0.2 and I am getting an endless Android boot logo loop.

I tried 'wipe data/factory reset' and 'wipe cache partition' and then install 7.0.2 as a clean install but the same issue occurs.

I would put 7.0.0 back on but I can't get the memory card to mount in Windows via. ClockworkMod Recovery v3.0.0.5 (and obviously Android won't boot now to mount it via. Android).

EDIT: The phone was brought in January/February, so I believe it's a gen1 model.

Any ideas?

No idea if this ZTE Blade is a "gen1" or "gen2". No idea what it means or how to find out.

Any ideas?

There are 2 software generations of the zte blade, gen 1 and gen 2

gen 1 is obviously the old version

until recently gen 2 come out this has things locked down as well as this some roms that were made for gen 1 devices didnt work with gen 2 (and vice versa), now since that time the devs have found out how to safely upgrade users from gen 1 to gen 2 so cyanogenmod has decided to support only gen 2 users because if they go back then they lose their imei number while we are safe because we have still got tpt

so you will need to first upgrade to gen 2 by flashing this: http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...n2-tpt-upgrade/

After that you can flash cm7

I hope this explained things, I was similar except I only read about the bit about there being 2 generations of the phone and that cyanogenmod are only supporting gen 2 so I was freaking out and thought I needed to take back my phone for a gen 2 device, that was of course until I read a few comments where I found out that I can flash to gen 2
