Guest fredriksk Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Hello. I have worked on this the hwole day now. My real goal is to get the custom rom on my Point of View Tegra II tablet. But all things I have tried have failed. First I tried to follow the guide provied in the custom rom therad. But When I try to install the Windows XP USB driver I just get a message stating that "there is no hardware information in the inf file". Why is that? So I tried to apply the rom in my Ubuntu computor but it cant find the POV since it is in host mod. So I downloaded the two APK files z4root and usb mode. The z4root worked and I managed to succesfuly root the tablet (at least it says so in the program). But when I tried to change the USB mode it just sits there. No reboot, It just says "hold on..." I think that if I just could get it into slave mode. I could apply the custom rom threw my Linux computor.. Please Help! I'm just about ready to give up on this :-(
Guest fredriksk Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Sometimes it just help to write a post. I solved it! I just installed the vega official update first. Making the USB a client instead.. then I applied the rom... now! Up and running :-)
