Anyone tried playing serious games on either of the roms...i have some questions to ask before i actually switch to gen2 and have one of those roms installed on my blade.

1. Does accelerometer work fine? i mean when playing games such as doodle jump, there aren't any response issues?

2. When playing games such as miami vindication, modern combat or other games which requires a good GPU, are there any graphic glitches? texture missing and issues like that?

3. When playing an avi video or flv, does it lag in fullscreen or does it work at normal speed?

4. How is the battery usage compared to Swedish spring or FLB r11b or any other froyo stable roms?

Hope i get answer to all of these questions honestly !

Issue 3264 is still open, isn't it?

So no. There have not been any changes in CM regading this recently. The sensors lag heavily after some hours of usage. After a reboot it's fine for a short time.

2. Never played any of those, But I can tell you that Angry Birds plays very well.

3. When playing videos that the Blade can hardware decode, e.g. .mp4 with baseline profile avc, probably a fair few .avi files, media playing is about as responsive as your could hope for, far better than 2.2 ROMs, and playing HD content s not a problem. To play files that are not in compatible formats, third party software is required and the performance depends on that. I found with moboplayer that a 320x240 flv video from youtube played fine, but nothing at DVD quality (720x576 or 640x480) or above could play smoothly.

4. I previously Used the last release of Japanese Jellyfish, And I think my battery now lasts longer. There are still numerous people reporting battery loss, as there are with all the ROMs, But I think its fair to conclude that CM7 treats the battery about as well as the 2.2 ROMs.

I also think my battery usage improves when I switched to Gen2, but I can't say for sure whether it was not a result of the new build of CM7
