Just upgraded to CM7 N57 from CM7 stable 7.0.0

GPS is not working first of all.

If I turn on the GPS it just says "waiting for location -> your location is temporarily unavailable"

If I enable use wireless networks it works, but I dont think it uses GPS anyway.

I did install kallt_kaffe lip for GPS reboot, which stops from reboot but it doesnt make my GPS to work.

GPS worked fine for me on CM7 stable GEN1. I cant remember if I enabled both wireless and GPS but

I am sure they both worked together or individually.

Other CM7 N57 users to have their GPS work fine.

Just checked it with Swedish Spring 5, (did a backup and tried a new rom for GPS), it doesnt work.

Is this GEN2 problem?

Have you got mobile data switched on? Mobile data + GPS = A-GPS

A-GPS will acquire a GPS lock faster.

Enabling wireless networks is a different method of working out your location. It gains a pretty much instant lock but you will probably find it's not as accurate as GPS, especially when moving about!

Make sure you not indoors and you have a clear view of the sky.. this will speed things up!

GEN2 does working GPS!

EDIT: I reccomend you keep both Wi-fi and GPS on at the same time to get the fastest lock!
