vplayer no longer works with cyanogenmod

i used vplayer previously with japanese jellyfish rls9 to watch streaming videos broadcasted by vlc media player.

i know the new versions of vplayer forces to use armv7 or above

but it no longer works, i.e. force closes, even i installed the old apk file

then wt's the problem? did anyone try it before?
