Samsung Galaxy S beats it in every way, this is a stupid comparison, there in different leagues (spec and price wise) Edited May 1, 2011 by KACE_231

Guest nissan3 Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Samsung Galaxy S beats it in every way, this is a stupid comparison, there in different leagues (spec and price wise) some people say that the samsung s can be a bit laggy is this true.
Guest KACE_231 Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 (edited) some people say that the samsung s can be a bit laggy is this true. that depends on the ROM, android version, but when you use application the speed difference is notable. I think the best test of a processors capability is the smoothness of the browser. It is almost liquid on dual-core phones, whereas our blades are mediocre and cannot handle more than one window/tab Edited May 1, 2011 by KACE_231

Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 sgs brighter, larger, more vibrant screen. same Res. better camera same amount of ram. (512mb) front facing camera. 1ghz hummingbird processor. both run cm7. fyi, sgs2 is out. its dual core.

Guest nissan3 Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Are the any other phones that are around the £180 mark.
Guest Fou-lu Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Are the any other phones that are around the £180 mark. Brand New? none that are better than the blade really.. At auctions maybe you can get the HTC HD2 and HTC Desire (original), seem to be the only ones around that price or cheaper that are worth it, Motorola defy too.
Guest nissan3 Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Had a desire but speaker sound was terrible compared to blade thought about getting a htc hd2 and running android on it but about same price as the samsung galaxy s and not worth the hassle but why would the motorola defy be much better then blade.

Guest DannyDanny Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 We like ZTE BLADE because its got a reasonable performance / cheap price. Galaxy S is mmmmmmmmmmmmuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhh better phone. I personally think its the best single core smartphone.
Guest iKrautDroid Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 Not only is the galaxy's processer, faster, it also is arm7. And it has miui an awesome and sadly closed source android rom. If I'd sell my blade, I'd probably get a galaxy s.
Guest HMZX Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 Just get the Samsung Galaxy S2 Its a Galaxy S (with all the support above) on steroids. Seriously

Seriously It's also relatively cheap for a brand new phone. Best deal: http://shop.o2.co.uk/mobile_phone/pay_mont..._-blank-_-blank Less than £400 on pay as you go. Engadget gave it 9/10 and TechRadar said it's the best phone at the moment. Only downside I see it hasn't got a qHD screen but since it's AMOLED it's not much of an issue.
