Guest rlemer Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Hi all, I'm quite worried here, as this is the current state of my phone: Basically, what happened is this: I installed Cyanogenmod 7.0.2 with a TPT upgrade to Gen2 and it's all been working fine for the last week or so. That is, until I accidentally booted it into install mode (Pressed volume up while turning it on) at which point it started installing the mod again. After this happened, the phone would just boot and show the Android logo and wouldn't do anything else. I could get onto Clockworkmod fine, just not do anything else. I tried then to re-install the mod, accepting that all my files stored on the phone would be lost (I hadn't backed up yet) - but when I tried to install it, it just showed the text "Update from T-Flash card!" and nothing else. Here's where I made my fatal mistake. I figured that whatever's stopping it from working must be on the SD Card (As I had wiped the data), so I deleted everything on the SD Card except the /image folder. Of course I realise now that that also included the clockworkmod files. I do have a backup of all these files on my computer. So I tried to re-install the mod, seemed to be working great, all the green text saying it had installed got up to 100%, but then bam, I get the image above ^ Anyone got any idea? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks, ~ rlemer
Guest k0zmic Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 (edited) Erm, I'm no expert but have you tried plugging it into the computer via USB then download this: http://www.mediafire.com/?dl9wettauw6vk7h the instructions to use it are here, read them carefully http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...-only-flashing/. Plug your phone in and see if the button on the program says 'Start' it will restore CWM and then you can re-flash a ROM. I recommend you do get a second opinion though. Edited May 1, 2011 by k0zmic

Whoaa, dont use the windows flasher if you used wbaw's TPT, I think there was an issue with the splash image which is why you are getting that screen above. Delete everything on your SD-card and download wbaw TPT (v3) again, place the /image folder directly into your sd card and now do the TPT again also check MD5's before doing the TPT
Guest rlemer Posted May 1, 2011 Report Posted May 1, 2011 Hi, thanks very much for the reply, but unfortunately I'm a Mac user. If this really is the only option then I'm sure I can find someone locally who has a PC, do you think this is probably the only realistic solution? Thanks, ~ rlemer

Guest rlemer Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 I can't access Clockwork at all, it just shows the screen above, should I invest in an sd card reader? Because if I hold down voldown I can get the installation process started (green text) I just can't do anything else
Guest KACE_231 Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 (edited) You might be able to use fastboot to install clockwork, but its windows only. I suggest you buy a sd-card reader, Just to confirm: - you can do TPT - you cant get into clockwork with the Vol- button held down - No ROM installed Edited May 2, 2011 by KACE_231
Guest hecatae Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 I would install the stock hungarian TPT to return the device to Gen1 stock, if that works I would then try the gen2 TPT update fresh
Guest rlemer Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 Hi, I've bought an SD Card reader, but it turns out that the actual card has become corrupted and I can't access it. That's correct KACE, although I did have Cyanogenmod 7.0.2 installed, I don't think it still is, as I've wiped the data and wiped the SD card. I'll try and get hold of another SD card to install a stock ROM or something similar, although I'm not sure how to do that without being able to access the phone or clockworkmod...? Thanks for all the help

Thanks for all the help Ok if your SD-Card is corrupted it will probably explain the failed TPT, do the TPT again with a new SD-card install a new ROM from stratch and make sure you rename the "/image" folder once you are done The wbaw v3 TPT installs clockwork into your recovery partition, so once you have done the TPT it will automatically boot into clockwork (Dont press any buttons during the TPT and after until the phone automatically enters clockwork) Edited May 2, 2011 by KACE_231
Guest rlemer Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 Hi, Problem sorted, I borrowed a friend's MicroSD card and tpt'd JJ version 8 onto the phone and it worked great, reformatted my SD cards in Ubuntu using .EXT and now they work fine Lesson learnt - I'll be sure to delete the /image folder and back up all files  Thanks for the help!
