I've decided to flash SSrls5 on my phone, but I can't seem to go into Clockwork recovery mode. I reboot the phone and hold vol-, green Android appears and few seconds later there is a short vibration. If I keep holding vol- vibration would happen every 5 seconds or so, but phone won't go into recovery mode. When I release vol-, phone boots as usual. Curently installed Clockwork is latest 3.0.2.7 and I installed it using also the latest version of ROM Manager, 4.2.0.2.

Maybe I could flash SSlrs5 from ROM Manager even without going into recovery, but I don't know if ROM Manager automatically wipes data and cache. But also, if something goes wrong I have no way to recover the old backup.

You are GEN1, this happened to me, ROM manager only installs GEN2 of the latest build which doesnt work, install clockwork v3.0.1.4 and use that to install the new ROM

there is an option in rom manager to flash older versions of clockworkmod, choose 3.0.1.4
