Hey all ^^,

Just something little!

I've made a quick script which will apply ClockworkMod 3.0.2.8 to your VEGA via wifi ^^.

Then, using CWM, you can apply ROMs such as Corvus5 without the need to set up drivers and connect your VEGA to your computer!

All that's required is the below app, free, from the android market :

Once you have the app, fire up the script and follow the instructions provided ^^.

Good luck and have fun!

Great that you picked up my idea from February for CWM as well :D . I used wireless flashing for my first ROM in February :o .

Option 2 is for flashing through wireless ADB (only Windows):

* Setup your WiFi ADB that it works through port 5555. Start your WiFi ADB app on your tablet. I prefer ADB over WIFI Widget, but there are other apps available.

* Write down the IP address the WiFi ADB gives you.

* Edit "install-windows-wifi.bat" (in the directory you extracted the files) and change line 13 => adb-windows.exe connect 192.168.1.15. Put the IP address of your tablet (from the WiFi ADB) instead of "192.168.1.15"

* Ensure you have USB debugging enabled on your device (enabled in Settings->Applications->Development)

* If you are using Windows, your USB 'Android Developer Bridge' driver MUST be the one included in this download (use 'Have Disk' functionality in device manager to change if required)

* At a command prompt / terminal, ensure you are in the directory you extracted the files, and run 'install-windows-wifi.bat'

* Wait for your device to reboot!

After I got my USB drivers managed I didn't follow up on this and almost forgot it.

You should add that the users should make sure WiFi ADB is set to port 5555, otherwise the script is not working.

Why did you pack the 3.0.2.4 version of CWM and not the newest 3.0.2.8?

You should add that the users should make sure WiFi ADB is set to port 5555, otherwise the script is not working.

Why did you pack the 3.0.2.4 version of CWM and not the newest 3.0.2.8?

Wrt port, the app gives the IP address of the form <IP>:<Port> so I'd guess most users would type the port in too when prompted for an IP address. This means if I put 5555 in as the default, a lot of the time it would read the IP as <IP>:<PORT>:5555, which ofc would be no good.

The fact that a port is given means it should work irrespective of whether its 5555 or not, if the app gives an alternative port presumably that would be ok too. (It has always given 5555 with me and in the event that the user doesn't enter the port, 5555 will be checked anyway).

As for 3.0.2.8, I didn't realise it existed! Thought 3.0.2.4 was the most recent ^^

Thanks for pointing that out, updated accordingly! ^^

As a long-suffering Windows 7, 64-bit user, this is great news. Cheers Zeb.
