Guest chugglet Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 I've been trying to find a sensibly priced Neoprene Case/Skin for my Vega but they all seemed to be too big, or slightly too small. I popped in to Poundland as I had seen on a post somewhere on here that they had some that would fit but the only ones they had were too small or like the one I bought, far too big. However although it was for a 15.6" laptop, its height is the exact width needed for the Vega. So I bought it. Measure it and cut it. Turned it inside out and sewed it back together. Et Voila! A perfectly sized skin for the Vega. It cost me a quid from Poundland and the use of my mums sewing machine for 15mins!!! What do you think?
Guest Minimonkey Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 Neat, you should sell them on eBay
Guest derffie Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 Clever clogs! I'm so copying you, well, sort of, cut it, then thrust it at my wife "can you stich it please?" As my needle craft looks terrible! Great idea though, better than the offical wallet, my wife got when she got the tablet, trouble with that thing is as you can loose it if you pick it up wrong... cheers for sharing!
