Call quality

Hi peeps and Paul,

In some other forums i see people increasing call quality by setting EVRC to EVRC-B.

They do this by entering ##PROGRAM in their dialer and sending it.

Is this something that could benefit us O2X owners with crappy quality?

I can't get to the settings through ##PROGRAM is there any other way?

I can't understand why nobody cares about the problem of audio quality...i believe that it's the biggest bug that has this phone.

Searching in the hidden menu i found under device test -> sound test -> Audio CAL quality the parameter to equalize the volume of all the outputs and inputs of our phones. The problem is that the metohd to save new values is missing so we can only read them. I discovered that the file should be edited is located in : sys/platform/devices/star_wm8994/data

; in particular the register value that should be changed are 1f,20,21 that control the output volume of the speaker that is too loud...the problem is that i tried several times to midify that file, but

the changes are not saved

Hi, I have the same problem... crappy audio quality on call.

I'm on CM7 b13 and i can't find hidden menu -> device test -> sound test -> Audio CAL. Can you please tell me where i can find it? Did you resolve to save your configuration or did you find another way?
