How to make an RUU from Nandroid backup?

Is there a way to create a RUU from the backup which I have (from my own phone)?

I have a full backup which was taken using the ROM Manager (nandroid backup) and it contains the following files :

- boot.img

- cache.img

- data.img

- nandroid.md5

- recovery.img

- system.img

From my understanding, this is a complete dump of my phone. Question is - how can I put all this back into the phone (which does not even boot as of now - See my other post : http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-desi...ow-to-recover/)

I assume that a RUU should be able to push the new firmware into the phone. Is this correct? If so, how can we make a RUU from this backup?

In a sentence, you can't make an RUU from a nandroid. If the phone isn't working send it back for repair
