Swedish Spring 5 - how do I get back the default 2.1+ scrolling into the distance?

I love the default AOSP effect where all my app icons scroll into the distance, as if on a conveyor belt... but it seems to be removed/disabled in Swedish Spring 5; any ideas how to get it back?

Thanks a lot guys

Try the gingerbread launcher by Steven Lin or launcher pro.

I'm talking about the APP folder, not the home screen; did you realise this?

This came way before gingerbread - why would I need to install a third party app - could you explain please?

Thank you :o

hi glossy, the gingerbread launcher gives that 3d conveyor belt effect, it was backported as a launcher to 2.2 and 2.1

would you prefer a clockwork zip to flash it in as a replacement instead of downloading it from the market?

Hiya

A cwm ZIP would be great, but I could as easily install from market... but if you have a ZIP, I'd love it. Thanks!

Dear glossywhite

1. Its called App drawer, not app folder.

2. Both launcher pro and gingerbread launcher have this effect. Unlike you, I know what I'm talking about.

3. If you don't want try what I suggested, you could just mod the Swedish Spring launcher because you are so smart.

that topic should come in handy, or use search sometimes? makeing topics all about you on BASIC android functions is a bit unnecessary.

For all the useful comments, I thank you all. For all the sarcastic, smartass comments, I suggest that if (supposedly) you feel you are "better" than me, judging by the tone, maybe a "better" person would refrain from making such childish replies... because you're better than that, right?

Replying in a civil way to provocative, smug comments, is harder to do than to react. It's paying off, and I don't intend to react any more.

Remember "two wrongs don't make a right".

Thanks for all the help.

@ glossywhite, please remember because of your past posting habits people will still be rough with you for a bit until you can prove to them that you have changed your posting style. Reporting every time someone makes a comment and even reporting the same post twice will not do you any favours.

You reported a post above then replied with a post in a similar vein.

Simple word of advice, bite your tongue and be polite, it may be hard to begin with but things will settle down if you let them.
