Firmware updates downloadable on Asus site

Just a heads up. Spotted over on XDA. Firmware updates now on the Asus site, http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLan...p;p=20&s=16 Click Android, then firmware. :mellow:

I just got another one and I want to root it and install Paul's upcoming rom, but keep the other one unrooted. If I update it to 8.2.3.9 from the Asus site will it still root or should I root it from stock and wait for Pauls rom.

This isnt the one that bricked devices is it?

Edit: anyone know where we can find release notes for these versions?

Nope, installed perfectly well on mine... I havent added Pauls updates as yet, only had it a day or two.

thanks for the heads up..upgraded mine and noticed some new nice additions..

camera seem to work a lot better than pre upgrade
