Under APN's there are 2, one for browsing and supl, and another for mms, while going through the options for them, there is a field for MMSC and MMS proxy. So i just copied those over from the ATT MMS apn to the ATT US apn, and then deleted the ATT MMS apn and issue is now gone.

Here is a guide:

Go to Settings -> Wireless & Network Settings -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names

Open up ATT US, then tap on MMSC and type in http://mmsc.cingular.com, tap ok

Under that, tap on MMS proxy and type in 66.209.11.32, tap OK

Then scroll down to the last item APN type, and check mms (default, and supl should already be checked).

Tap ok, then press the back button.

tap on ATT MMS, scroll down to MMSC and MMS proxy and verify that they are the same that you just entered (just as a double check, don't know if at&t is using different proxies or servers for different regions).

If they're the same then press the menu button and tap on delete apn.

Now you have one apn ATT US that handles Data and mms together. Once you press back or home, your data might cut off for a second, but once it reconnects you should be good.

I've been browsing through market for the past 5 min with no data connection drops. Also sent myself an MMS and it went through, and data on browser and twitter working well. So far its looking good.
