Market problems

I'm having problems with the market, i can't install any new apps or update existing ones it just says install error, they download fine just won't install.

I'm using corvus5 02 kernel and rom and i don't think its a rom problem as it was ok for a couple of weeks after installing corvus5 then yesterday i couldn't update an existing app, today i installed corvus 02 his latest update (thanks for the work corvus) and i still cannot update existing apps or install new ones.

I have tried unmounting and remounting the SD card and unmounting the SD card and rebooting but no joy.If i go into the SD card settings it always says "unmount in progress" (can't remember if it always says that) and if i click to unmount it unmounts ok then when i remount it remounts and then goes back to saying "unmount in progress". Everything else works fine apps work, browser works etc, so short of a total start from scratch i have no more ideas.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Have you changed the SD card or is it the original which came with the Vega? :mellow:

Its the one that came with it, do you think the card has become corrupted in some way?

Ive had the same problem, I installed the Corvus ROM after playing around with VegaN and CM7. I hit the same problem when trying to install apps.

I tried:

1. Unmount then mount then reboot (suggested over at XDA)

2. Tried a reformat of the SD card

3. Reformat the card, go back to stock add R8, clockwork mod then Corvus

4. Tried the above with another SD card (from hy hero)

Hope you have some luck with this, I couldnt find any other advice on the matter. Maybe a lurking expert could shed some light on this?

did any of that solve your problem, i'm putting off a reformat unless i absolutely have to

Try to do a wipe in CWM, this should fix the problem.

Just restored an old R8 backup i forgot about on my laptop, problem solved
