Hi,

Am new to the Forum and Android phones. Have managed to set-up the the internet, can surf and download all day long. I can send txt messages but can not send or receive MMS messages.

Does anyone have any ideas how to overcome this problem?

You have to setup the apn for the mms call Orange they 'll give you the correct values :mellow:

Topic title, says "O2"..wonder how happy the Orange people would be when he phones up to ask for their settings!!

Are you on contract or prepay? I can give you instructions that work perfectly for me on contract, I spent ages trying to get it to work.

I am on a SIm only deal so do not Top-Up my phone. I presume that makes me Contract.

Yes it does, the o2 website should give you the option to send the details too your phone, if not i think you can find them on the internet.

I had a PM asking how I got it working, thought I'd post it here... This worked for me...

I am on O2 Contract running Sweedish Spring RLS5 on a Gen1 TFT. I tried it on CM7 but got very bad quality images when sending and receiving however it also worked for my brother who is running CM7 on a Desire.

1. Download APN Backup & Restore from the Market

2. Backup APNs using APN Backup & Restore (so you can restore if required)

3. Restore APNs using APN Backup & Restore using the file attached (copy it too SDCard\ApnBackpRestore or wherever the original backup file from step 2 was saved to)
