Bricked Streak-please help

Hi,

I managed to bricked my Streak after flashing the wrong files and now it won't respond. No reboot, no battery charging, not recognised by windows....etc I had 318/345 (don't remember) installed and I had flashed the wrong files for 351 using fastboot :

# DT.img

# amss.mbn

# appsboot.mbn

# boot.img

# dbl.mbn

# dsp1.mbn

# fsbl.mbn

# osbl.mbn

Now my streak is totally bricked. Tried to connect with QDLTool but phone does not respond.

Does anyone have a backup image of their internal 2gb storage? And if I copy/paste the new image into my internal sd, will my streak work again? Please advice.....:mellow:

if it is just dead, i would say to sent it into dell for repair under warranty

Warranty is void since I tried to dismantle it. That's the reason I wanted to know if I could revive it with another user's backup image of his internal sd. Anyone please?

I have the same problem. I somehow erased the system files and now my streak won't boot, won't charge, won't get detected. I have to strip it to get to the Internal SD Card and need to copy the files. If someone can upload those files, It will be great. I do not have warranty to return it to Dell.

If someone can, please upload the image of the Internal 2GB SD Card. I am sailing in the same boat or should I say sinking in the same boat and need help. My phone does not boot, no LEDs even. Not even with the USB charger.

If you tell me how to create the image file and where I can host it, then I'd be happy to oblige. :mellow:

Having said this, if you install a fresh internal SD into the phone and flash any of Steve's ROM's with Clockwork, the system will repair and correctly format the new SD on fist reboot and you're good to go.

10xOXR - Wow, glad you have successfully revived your Streak!! Can you tell if you remove the internal sd card and restart the phone without any sd card(without both the internal and the 16gb one), does it boot? I mean, does the phone lights up even without the cards and are there any messages on the screen? Thanks a lot!!!

I didn't think to try and boot the phone with both SD cards removed, nor was the phone in much of a state where I'd feel safe booting it even if I had thought of it.

I'm sure the the phone would have powered up, at the very least, and then perhaps complained vigorously at the lack of any software to tell it what to do.

Thanks a lot......Please copy all the files/folders in a Folder "Internal_SD' and upload it to any uploader (Megaupload/Rapidshare or any). I am waiting for the files before I dismantle my Streak. My problem is that the phone is completely Dead, therefore I can't go to recovery or fastboot. I know for sure that I have deleted system.img, Boot.img, Recovery.img and not sure if any others. I am assuming that I must have deleted them from Internal SD as there's no other memory it has. Thanks again for your help.

Given that the card can't be read by Windows (which is all I'm currently using) I'm going to assume that I have to copy all of the file from the phone while it's running. Any thoughts how I do this?
