Hey all,

Installed the new gtalk via the method described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...p;postcount=183

Seems to be working alright, except other people are only showing with the dots by their names, no cameras/speakers. two other contacts definatley have the new gtalk to and are experiencing the same problem.

Any suggestions?

Tried it, but cannot call people.

the other person needs to have gtalk voice features enabled aswell for it to work.

try it with desktop version of gtalk (or web version in gmail with chrome plugin installed).

The app itself works for me in normal mode, however i cannot recieve calls and if i try to initiate a call nothing happens.

I've read on some forums that you must be running android 2.3.4 to be able to recieve calls (otherwise other party won't see that you have voice availiable)

yer change your rom to cm7. it has just updated to android 2.3.4. runs awesome

updated to N60. it is indeed 2.3.4

gtalk web now allows to call the phone, however still refuses to connect.

Nothing happens when dialing from the phone aswell.

Not yet, the libtalk.lib file is compiled for armv7 processors so it won't work on our blades.

Need to wait for source code release or for someone to recompile it :unsure:
