Problem installing SS_RLS5 after converting to Gen2,

I converted my phone OLED gen1 orange uk to gen2 via TPT method with CM7 N57 packaged into the image, want to convert back to SS because of accelerometer issue but just get green android, wiped everything and checked MD5 of file ... help apprieciated.

Exactly the same issue here, except that I used CM7.02 Stable via TPT.I have a feeling that its to do with the new partition sizes but really I just don't know :mellow: I'm having multiple issues with CM7 and really want to give SS another try. Any thoughts on this from the guys who understand this stuff better than me would really be appreciated.

anyone any ideas, Ive tried 2 other gen2 roms neither would get past the green android man, I like CM7 but Ive got all the bugs going, reboots from charger, hiss speaker, accellerometer, it all well having all these extra options when F All else works .... cheers in advance.

you need to flash clockwork recovery or just update the Rom manager and install recovery using it

Back on track re-TpT'ed (New word created) the gen2 conversion again and I can now install gen2 roms .... phew.

Thanks for the input but I already did both of those, in fact that's how I installed SS. ROM installs fine, just never boots back up, just sits at the green Android. I re-flash cm7 using Clockwork and that's fine.

The person here who has fixed it has flashed another TPT which possibly changed the partition sizes, and would maybe explain why he can now flash SS.

I have tried updating with a couple of cm7 nightlys and the latest 7.03, they all install and boot without problems. It seems that all the CM7 roms install fine, its just SS that causes the problem. It looks like I might have to TPT again with something else to get back to something SS will work with.

I can still only assume that its something to do with partition sizes, I would love to hear something different.
