Looking for an app that switch power off, and a good QR code scanner.

Hi there.

I am looking for the market and tried a lot of apps.

I had an app or widget with a red power button that switched off the advent vega, but after a lock up I had to reflash and I was never been able to find the app again.

I am just looking for an app that put off the advent vega in stead of using the hardware power button on the machine.

Hope that someone can point me in the right position,tried a lot off apps but they just put off the screen and nothing more.

The one I had ( and lost ) really put off the power.

The other app I used to read the QR images was Beetag, now It reads the picture but when I put the button to go to the market, it crashes.

I use the Modaco Rom v 8, with the market installed.

And now you are gonna say, hey use the search :mellow:

English is not my native language ( I had only one year lessons ) and I am dyslectic.

You don't have to help me eat, I can chew myself..but help me to find the table with the food on it... ( hope this is a good joke to show that I need some help )

Do a search for (the fantastic) 'Extended Controls' by 'Honolulu Team' (I'm too lazy to find the direct link for you LOL), this will do what you want, and much more. This is always one of the first things to go on after a reflash for me.

+ @ TangoEight Barcode scanner let me think of the things you see on a pack of milk or something.

Thank you both for the suggestions, now I know names, I know what to search.

While I say that I think about the stupid view, holding the tablet for the computerscreen and try to catch the QR code, it's not to elegant :unsure:

I have to wait for the extended controls, my creditcard is blocked (problems with playstation 3 hack-Mastercard is replacing my card.) .
