Guest hugobosslives Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 you have tried turning off airplane mode right? (hold power button, menu will come up. press airplane mode on/off) and you have a sim and signal on the phone?
Guest Artemjka Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 do you do downgrade from Gen2 to Gen1 win methood?
Guest KACE_231 Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 I believe that the setting between GSM/3G/Radio Off is coded into the firmware, this is why once you set 2G only in android settings, the setting remains selected even when you switch between ROM's (clearing all data traces between them). There is a way to change the firmware setting by using a dialer code but I cant remember it.
Guest salah_heart Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 to fix this ........folow download stock recovery and flash it using clockwork http://www.mediafire.com/?kx76glmuxym6adp after this download telia rom from here http://www.ztesweden.se/Exego.aspx?p_id=327 go to FTM mod ( REMOVE THE BETTERY AND PRESS VOLUM DOWN WITH POWER) conect ur mobile by thr USB AND FLASH THE ROM USING EXE

If so you need to downgrade back to GEN1 using the wbaw TPT but as stated there is definitely way of going into the firmware settings to fix this which way did you upgrade to GEN2 Edited May 6, 2011 by KACE_231
Guest ragwing Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 I have the exactly same situation like the 1st post... I also have the gen 1 ZTE blade and after I upgraded to the gen 2 radio, the airplane mode can not be off... But after I flashed back to gen 1 radio and tried to use the telia rom from ZTE website the software showed "The version is not march", I can not flash rom use the FTM mode  What can I the next step do to save the phone?
Guest hecatae Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 if you have used the windows flasher, it sounds like you have messed your nvram, can you please check your IMEI

Flash back to the stock ROM and see if radio is enabled (i.e. not airplane mode), if not then dial this number on the phone app: *983*3640# and see if you can enable radio
