Seen out in the wild...

I have started to try an lose some weght I have gained, I seem to love food, but have steadilly had less time for keeping fit.. I did 4.5 miles then stopped in my local Costa Coffee in Marlow and sat by the window was a guy in a suit busily tapping away on a tablet and at first, I thought it is a Vega, then thought it might not be, then it might etc...

I supped my coffee and kept glancing over, I was now convinced that it was indeed a vega as he packed it away and got ready to leave... Sp have you been in a public place and seen someone else using one?

I have yet to get my tablet, but it is only time...

lol considering the Vega is meant to be the most popular budget tablet out there the only one i've seen is my one :o I've seen more dumb iPads then vegas :D

In a way I'm kind of glad, it makes me feel like I've bought it because it's a good machine and not because it's Apple and everyone has got one :mellow:

I haven't seen any outside but on tv there's an advert which shows a man using a vega and yes its a vega I'm sure of it.

nope not seen anyone with one yet. mostly Ipads, did see someone with galaxy tab yesterday.

Spotted the Vega in use on a production line. They use several Vegas to connect to an intranet page displaying a web form for QA related stuff.

Seems not many of us have... The funny thing is is.. All I could think was... "I wonder if he has flashed it with Corvus or R8"..... I would have thought more would have been seen as it has now been around for some time and shed loads have been sold.. To be honest I have nothing against the Ipad, just not in my budget at the moment, I am a Mac and windows user, Flash for most media pro types is not a concern.

And yes Beegee1962 you could say that LOL.. Would be great for meetings etc with potential clients. More tactile too! It kind of made my morning, seeing someone working on it especially as my now ancient laptop (soon to be replaced) has a battery more knackered than I am. Lasts about all of five mins... Now all I need to do is see the vega scree with photos I know so I can see how good the screen is...
