upgraded to Ubuntu11.04 today, i tried to compile CM7 today but some libs are missing it was working fine in 10.10

sudo apt-get install g++-multilib lib32z1-dev lib32ncurses5-dev lib32readline5-dev gcc-4.3-multilib g++-4.3-multilib
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package gcc-4.3-multilib

Prfobably not right but have you tried

sudo apt-get install g++-4.3-multilib

yes, but no use, still can't read the package

i think you need these libs to compile CM7

I can't help you with this problem I'm afraid, but speaking as people who have compiled CM7 before, am I right that you must use a 64bit system to do it?

my system is amd x2 4600+ that is 64-bit and i got ubbuntu 64-bit

should it complie just fine with gcc? because i got git-core working fine

It should compile. Try to use Synaptics package manager to download those packages (type partial name in search field).
