Guest Enz Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 Hi Guys, this is my first post. I bought an OSF from Swiss, but from the first time I switched it on (with the stock rom), the auto rotate function has never worked. Tried to change roms, switch it off/on, also to move fast the phone in my hands, but seems completely faulty. There is a way to check the sensor? Where is located? Could I have some hw information on that issue? Maybe someone has the ZTE Blade Service manual!
Guest Flumpster Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 Try this app Here It can test loads of things including the accelerometer.

Maybe someone has the ZTE Blade Service manual! Have a look at the Secret Dialler Codes, where you can check most of the the features of the phone. Just bear in mind that if you have already installed a custom ROM this may not work. The codesshould work 100% if you still have the stock ROM (at least here in the UK).

Guest Flumpster Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 It doesn't sound good mate.. Can you still return it on warranty ?
Guest Borderland Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 I had this problem from new with my son's Blade, except his was intermittent. I got it replaced (Orange shop) without any quibble.
Guest Enz Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 It doesn't sound good mate.. Can you still return it on warranty ? No way. I'm in Italy and the phone is from Switzerland! Tried with 2.1 custom roms also. Same situation. The strange is why Z-Device display the hw model chip??

Is your phone GEN1 or GEN2?I had the same problem with my Swiss Orange blade and custom roms. All I did was: I converted my phone to GEN2 (it was gen1) using this and then installed SS RLS5 rom and installed softbank kernel from that thread and my sensors are working again. I hope it works for you too!
