[REQUEST] Kernel with newest stuff

Hello everyone, these days it's all about Gingerbread but people like me still use 2.2 ROMs (I do try GB but I always roll back, because Ginger still has bugs and isn't as smooth as Froyo)

In my case I use MIUI 1.3.5 with some stuff from 1.3.18 (because 1.3.18 lockscreen sucks)

But since the release of the latest MIUI 2.2, all the kernel updates have been added only to 2.3.

So here's the request could someone port the latest kernel update (the best would be the new thepasto's) for 2.2 MIUI, I think it's mostly a matter of removing the touchscreen GB patch.

This should work, didn't tested, be aware because if i used a wrong deploy number the phone will reboot randomly and you'll have to flash another bootimg

Using it now, seems to work fine but my proximity sensor is broken.

Proximity in 2.2 miui was working perfectly so I guess using original sensor stuff from 2.2 miui would fix the issue

EDIT: Also can't change brightness, even manually
