Guest shad0wboss Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 (edited) I need an honest answer since i've flashed nearly ALL the builds now and i'm quite fedup of the performance (nightly 8, 20, 22, 28, 30, 3x, RC1, RC4, 7.0.2 stable, 7.0.3 stable). These are the builds i could think of...please suggest me a build where things like GPS, auto brightness, battery usage, internet, proximity sensor....are working properly...please i really don't want to use 2.2 over CM7. Thanks in advance ! Edited May 6, 2011 by shad0wboss
Guest ThrashMan Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 lol....stop whining and either use CM7 and help with feedback or install 2.2 All the things you listed work fine in N62.

Guest targetbsp Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 (edited) I've tried newer ones but I like N35 on my OLED - it has no issues at all that affect me, though it's possible it has a GPS reboot issue for TFT's - I can't remember. I plan to be on the next nightly now the charging bug is fixed though. Edited May 6, 2011 by targetbsp

Guest qkimat Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 I've got the N61 and it works just fine. It's the first CM7 that works for me and my Blade. Bless the CM7 devs!
Guest shad0wboss Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 I suggest you try again. I'm using N62 with Launcher Pro and ADW Launcher ain't running. well...in battery use...adw is still consuming 2% of battery for me :/ a question: I've deleted rom manager.apk and bootanimation.bin from the rom to fit into the partition but if i install rom manager and update from N62 to N63, would it work? because for latest nightly's i have to delete bootanimation to fit into the partition. So if i update my nightly through rom nanager would it install the whole rom or just update some files?

Guest shad0wboss Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 tried uninstalling adw through titanium or other means? hehe didn't think about that , going to give it a try now ! thanks but that still doesn't answer my other question :o

Oh, and to answer your question: I would assume ROM Manager would attempt to install the whole full size ROM

Guest martinhy Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 i am using n63 now, the random reboot and freezing problem seemed relieved, but the phone is really warm , now is 41degrees, with wifi on i remember that when i was using older nightlies, or even 2.2, it's not such hot may i ask a noob question, is there such a big difference in functionality between n3x and n6x? coz i may rollback to n3x

Also 41° isn't that bad, when using wifi and all that...so it's ok. Don't put your phone under sun tho lol

Guest lesa0208 Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 (edited) it's anyone have problem with freezing in gallery or random reboot? I used n59 and i have problem with random reboot, freezing, when i apply some theme in theme chooser my phone need ten minutes to load desktop and widgets, and when he load desktop and all stuff, work five to ten minutes and then reboot, is that problem present in n63? I am now on 2.2 rom but i realy want 2.3, and i don't know what rom to flash n63 or 7.0.3 Edited May 9, 2011 by lesa0208
Guest qkimat Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 Backup your current system and try the latest nightlies. They work just fine. I've had no problems whatsoever with N63. I've tried N61 and N62 and they behaved well too (with some minor issues that the 63 seems to not have). I think that the devs are really close to the creation of a really stable CM7 for Blade.
Guest Grain Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 it's anyone have problem with freezing in gallery or random reboot? I saw freezing gallery several times. This seems to be some resource allocation problem in Android as it couldn't get some surface buffer. I don't think anyone is working to fix that currently. Is it random reboot or random shutdown? The latter are caused by broken battery temperature readings most likely. This is being worked on. Personally I use CM7 but I wouldn't recommend it as a daily ROM currently unless you are really an enthusiast  .
Guest shad0wboss Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 well the topic doesn't have a meaning now since the nightly's are being released every night, so if you have got a good internet connection, just download every build/or whenever you feel like changing and just flash newer one as it's much more stable over the last ones...so for now N67 seems to be the latest, stable for now

I've only had reboots when using GPS so have always put it down to that but you never know... I have never had a freeze problems in the gallery or anywhere else.
