Thanx for any help What browser are you using? Have you set your browser to a non-mobile view? That may fix it, but I doubt it if it specifies windows or mac. I'm not sure how else I'd get around this other than using some description of proxy maybe? Zeb

Thanx for any help If you are using the standard Android browser try the following: Open the browser, type as address about:debug then <enter> Nothing seems to change, but when you now open the menu, goto settings and scroll down. You will find a "UAString" or "User Agent", push it and select "Desktop" Then try again to load the page. If you are using another browser, search in the settings of the browser for "UA", "User Agent" or similar and change it to Desktop, PC, or whatever sounds like its a PC or MAC.
Guest Unipete Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 Hi there, I know you asked this a little while ago and got the same type of reply about changing settings from mobile to desktop, (which is good advice). Can you tell me if you are trying to obtain your work schedule from an exchange email account, (i.e calender)? If so you would need to install an exchange client from market. I use 'touchdown', (free version is available on android market), which syncs all my work emails/ calenders etc. If this isn't the case then feel free to ingnore the last paragraph! Regards Pete

Guest theeskimo Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 That appears to be a problem with the webpage, some administrators specifically browsers like IE, to stop 'security issues'. There's probably nothing you can do, sorry its not a solution
Guest Logseman Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 (edited) I'm afraid theeskimo is right. Many corporate websites were built around Internet Explorer 6 which peaked a 95% of market share. However, it is the bane of browsers as it works against most modern standards. If you work for this company, you could make them aware of the undesirability of said policy: http://www.theie6countdown.com/default.aspx I like that sentence: "Friends don't let friends use IE6". Was Microsoft an enemy of the people in 2001? Edited May 8, 2011 by Logseman

I see the information about "Works only with Internet Explorer", but the site seems to load. I clicked on "How to register?" and it loaded the page. Please let us know what happens when you enter your login data.

Guest Dave Marchant Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 My guess is that if it is specifying Internet Explorer and excluding Firefox, Safari etc. it probably is dependent on ActiveX. In that case, it is not going to work on any system that is not running Microsoft Windows. I am speaking with some experience as an IT Manager for a tech company.
Guest owenoliver1 Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 tried and tried no browser will let it work not even provate browser sorry buddy
