Guest Jetba Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 Hello I was thinking, how can i take most out my blades performance? At this point, i'm running N62 Cyanogenmod. I have my blade clocked to 710mhz with ondemand, and vm heapsize 48. I quess, that CM has stagefright enabled. There are a lot of settings in CM performance setting, but i haven't touched them yet. I am ready change roms, and etc, because i have already lost my imei . So, tips :o ?
Guest JT_daniel Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 Well, you could try OC it to a little more.. Mine goes all the way up to 787 (GEN 1, SS RLS5).
Guest Jetba Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 Yeah, maybe i should. I have never tried more.

Guest ZTE_Blade Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 Lucky you  Mine can only handle 691 and mine 652MHz
Guest Jetba Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 Well, i made a bit testing, and noticed that 728 is max for me.
Guest hugobosslives Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 cm7 does not have stagefright enabled stock as it is currently (kinda) broken. you can enable it if you need it, using tools such as blade buddy (free from market). tho, i doubt you need it, unless your wanting to show off to people about your (fake) quadrant score......

You know you're wrong? CM7 has stagefright enabled, and it works perfectly. It was broken with FroYo, and ZTE disabled it in FroYo releases on purpose. CM7 uses the CodeAuroraForum fixes of StageFright for MSM7*27, and all codecs are up and running. And also, on CM7, no quadrant scores are fake. Usual is around 980-1070.

Guest hugobosslives Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 meh. i dont mind being corrected if im actually wrong. but, you sure? I no its been fixed (well pretty much) for cm7. and i in fact use some stagefright settings for certain things but I'm pretty sure it's not enabled by defualt. I just flashed n61 (yes I formatted everything). and checked the .prop and stagefright is set to false....
Guest JT_daniel Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 Lucky you  Mine can only handle 691 Well, it gets heated up like CRAZY after 10-15 minutes of games/app usage, so I normally keep it at 691. You're not missing much, other than smooth Angry Birds at every level and maybe an inflated quadrant score. :)
