I was wondering if someone could be so helpfull as to tell me how to make it a custom one, I know for the ringtone and alarm you must hold on a file and press make ringtone and then go into sound, but that does not seem to be working with notification tone.

I am using FLB-Froyo (2.2)

Hi, if you create a folder on your SD card called "notifications", any audio file you place inside can be used.

Not a slick solution but at least you can use a custom notification sound. Make sure you spell the name with a lowercase n.
