install Rom R8

Hi all,

I am a complete newbie, with computers and upgrades on any decvices. I have managed to upgrade my firmware to the latest. I cannot see the device in the hardware manager and cannot use the 'Android Developer Bridge' driver or should I say do not know how to use it. My Vega is in USB debugging mode and I then connected the Vega to my laptop which is running Xp sp3. Can someone please help with this install? Just thought I would update this post, I finnally figured it out and upgraded sucessfully.

Can you post "how" as I have just bought a Vega and have thought about using the R8 rom but am worried I may mess it up.

I've looked up the threads here but a "real noobie" guide would be great,
