How to run Gameloft HD Game

1. Need root explorer or sometning like that.

2. Go to system and Open in text editor build.prop. Ofc before mount R/W.

3. Find line: ro.product.manufacturer = ZTE

4. Replace with: ro.product.manufacturer = HTC

5. Restart phone :unsure: (if dont wanna restart wipe cache should help)

And now u can play gameloft HD games :) (sd cache for desire hd are the best :P )

after any rom update u have to do it again.

Tested on CM7 ;)

I don't think this'll fix it because the SAME games are working on 2.2 roms but don't work on CM7...there's something wrong with the rom and not the games..

if u had game before it reinstall game :>

Sandstorm work 100%, Setlers too, Nova and Eternal Legacy.

Should work with all ARMv6 games ;>

ooo does this mean the menus and controls in Nova will work properly?.(I know it works but the black controls and menus annoy me)

It did need a redownload for me in a different gameloft title. I suspect it depends on the game and whether it had downloaded the right content for you.

Note also that as said above, you definitely need to reboot. And make sure you change the correct line because there's more than one line in there set to ZTE.

yea, i uninstalled game, then changed the stuff in build.prop, rebooted, installed game from scratch and downloaded game data as well.

Think you have to do it this way as I tried not uninstalling game, and it didnt work

Should work, since asphalt 5 worked...just try fast 5, it's much better then asphalt 6 lol

same kind of thing happens to me with modern combat sandstorm,I get cant play this video messages.

If I i let these messages pop up and ok them,about 15 or so later the game starts

When I open the build.prop with Jota Text Editor from my phone I can change it but not save it. The same with TED Text Editor.

From my computer I can't go on the system folder.

How can I change and save?

I have CM7 installed.

Thanks a lot but is there an other app which I can use for free (with ads don't matter)

It's difficult for a teen to get a credit card :unsure: and market don't support paypal or bonus cards.

I tried all I could find but all had a problem.

And even if I have changed the permissions it don't work.
