Fantastico!!!

Also, the ad says Froyo........

can anyone confirm this is actually available with 2.2 Stock ROM on-board.

If so, then we have found the bargain of the year, so far.

Doh! Not sure anyone will remember the tale of my sister in law whose two toddlers microwaved her blade and frazzled it?

She just (yesterday) came back from her holidays in - yup - Spain! She could have picked herself up a new one there for buttons - as it goes i'm gonna have to get her one next time I'm in Blighty which ain't gonna be months yet...

I have it right here - nice looking brick :P

i'd use the back cover but it's marginally more shagged than my own!

I'll check in with the lady herself and see if she wants it dissected and flogged on ebay

Bargain! No ugly "San Francisco" branding along the top either. Would much prefer the "ZTE" logo.

The picture in the article is just for reference I believe. The phone will surely bear the "San Francisco" logo according to some news from another spanish website I read.

We can not tell you an estimated time, but certainly soon. Greetings

Cannot find the Blade on-line Yoigo Shop....??

Any link???

Link to the Video review. Spanish.

By the end of the video the bloke goes into the phone info settings and shows them, that's where I got the information quoted before.

From what I gather the price of 69€ is only if you signup with the Yoigo which means you have to pay a mensality.

It's just a marketing move.

mensality = monthly payment??

mensality = monthly payment??

= Contract???

Yes, it says in their magazine

http://www.tutiendasmol.es/index.php/revista

"Precios de ZTE Blade para altas en tarjeta contratando Bono 8 internet

Bono 8 Internet tarjeta : 9,44€ mes"

Translated it is something like this

"Price of ZTE Blade pay-as-you-go with Bono 8 Internet, price of Bono 8 Internet : 9.44€ per month"

It is an internet package with 500MB/month.

If anyone has a better translation (or more info), please post

Partial screen capture from Yoigo Mobile Plans - Contracts and pre-pay

53044810.jpg

The mobile is 69 euro on pay-as-you go, providing you subscribe to the "Bono 8 Internet de contrato", which is like a monthly subscription for internet access ( 8 euros /month gives 500 MB/month, and after reaching the limiy you keep having internet but with reduced speeds)

The "Bono 8 internet de contrato" is on offer from 01/12/10 to 31/05/11, so if you get by then, it is free for the first 3 months. The minimum term for this subcription is three month.

The last paragraph from the screen capture:

"Your "bono 8" renews itself every month automatically, so if you would not like it to renew after the 3 free months you have to deactivate it before the last free month runs out , since deactivation actually takes place on the following day that you ask for its deactivation. Calculate well the dates if you do not want to renew it, or else you will be charged for the following month."

Therefore, what I understant is that if you purchase the phone (The ZTE Blade mobile phone has been made available as from today) and subscribe to the "Bono 8 internet de contrato" by the 31/05/11, it will cost you only 69 euro, but you will have to remember cancelling the subscription before 3 months run out, or else the subscription will renew automatically. Cancelling and re-rubscribing to the "Bono 8 internet de contrato" does not incurr in any additional fees.

So until the 31/05/11, the phone will be 69 euro only, as you are effectively waving the monthly internet subscription costs due to the offer, however after that it would be 69 euro + 8 euro/month (9.44 euro including VAT) for a minimun of 3 months = 97.32 euro in total.

But you have to subscribe to the "Bono 8 Internet" in the store?

You can't just enter the store and give them the 69€ and go home?

Can a non spanish person buy the phone?

I have a cousin who is studying in Santiago de Compostela and I would ask her to buy the phone for me (In Portugal it costs 170/180€ in stores)

I think a non spanish person can buy it, but they need to have residence in Spain (such as the case of your cousin) but maybe wakaru can confirm this.

I was willing to go on a weekend visit to Vigo (always a short and nice trip from Porto to there) and then buy one (another one) Blade if it was 69€ with no questions asked. You'd pay and get the phone, but with that contract thing it might not be possible as I don't live in Spain.
