facebook notifications

i have facebook on my pulse! but... for some reason when i get a notification on facebook it dosnt come through on my phone, iv had to set the texts to send me a message when i get one but there not the best to rely on, can someone please help me so i get a instant notification pop through on my phone! all facebook has to offer is 30mins to 1hr and so on!

it would be much aprishiated if someone could help and get my notifications through

Its the facebook app itself i believe, im getting the same problem.

I´m using the flow facebook client instead.. doesn´t need as much ram as the official client does and the notification system is way better
