Guest ezuk Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 Hi, Every time my device boots, settings gets lost. Keyboard secondary language is deleted, the device has to re-sync address book, and a lot of weird stuff happens. I'm running LCR-F. I tried to disable ZipAlign in LCR Settings, but it just keeps coming back again and again. Says "disable requires boot", I reboot and come back to check, and zipalign is enabled again. But maybe ZipAlign isn't the problem; what's driving me crazy is losing my settings and items every time I reboot. Help? Thank you.

Have you tried to run "fix permissions" via malez recovery or lcr settings ?
Guest ezuk Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 I can understand it makes you crazy. Have you tried to run "fix permissions" via malez recovery or lcr settings ? Hi Malez! Thanks for taking the time to reply -- I really appreciate your support! I just ran "Fix permissions" via adb shell. I didn't know about this option because it's not in the on-screen recovery menu: I Googled it and ran it via malez command from adb-shell on pc. It didn't help, though: I rebooted, disabled ZipAlign, rebooted again and ZipAlign was enable again. Also, the "root app" (you know, the one that grants other apps root rights) suddenly forgot that LCR Settings has root rights and prompted me again, which shows that the settings loss problem still exists. I've noticed it happens more often when I reboot the phone using some Tasker profile, but it also happens (less) when I reboot manually. Do you have any idea what might cause it? Is it really the ZipAlign? How can I disable it? Thanks again.
Guest ezuk Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 I ended up uninstalling LCR-F 2.0 and reverting to the stock ROM. It works. :\
Guest bellanano Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 Hy Malez, do you think you'll release an update of LCR-F or 2.0 was the last?
