Im Planning on partitioning a new card and using A2SD, but was wondering do you actually notice the difference when using an SD card of a higher speed class on everyday use.

Do apps load/run any faster or video play any smoother, or are the only real benefits copying speeds.

Thanks

After Class 4 the speed difference is negligible.

It's the speed in mb/sec of the slowest speed - which is always the write speed. So it's absolutely no indication of how fast your phone will be able to load apps or videos. My class 2 reads faster than my class 6 for instance. And my class 4 reads and writes faster than my class 6 so they don't even bother with accurate classes anyway it seems!!

Thank you for clearing that up! I was thinking that it referred to both speeds.

Think i will just go with a trusted named brand now.
